Brad started in the financial services business in 2001. The team currently manages $1.4b in employer sponsored retirement plans assets for 62 clients. Brad’s team manages $965m for 25 clients. This practice started on the idea of mitigating risk to improve outcomes. This has led to what we now call the 3 R’s:
• Results – Get all participants to their income goal. Income replacement targets should be a range that is based on numerous factors, not a finite number.
• Reliability – Achieve the income goal with a high degree of certainty. The success of a plan should be determined by the ability to get more participants to reach their goals. This is possible when you consider the right approach.
• Risk – Align the investment strategy with participants’ loss aversion and behavior. Select investments that will help overcome inherent biases that obscure our judgment and lead us to make poor investment decisions.
In April 2014, Brad merged his retirement plan advisory firm, RBK Capital, LLC, with Heritage to form Heritage Retirement Plan Advisors. In 2016, Heritage merged with Argent to form Argent Retirement Plan Advisors, LLC.
