Linde Murphy recognized as a “Rising Star” on 2020 list

Linde Murphy

Argent Financial Group announced today that Linde Murphy, managing director for Argent Retirement Plan Advisors, has been named one of the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) 2020 Top Women Advisors in the Rising Stars category. She is one of two Texas-based advisors honored and the only one honored in the San Antonio area.

The Rising Stars category recognizes top producers who have less than five years of experience as a financial advisor for retirement plans, although they may have been in the industry longer. A panel of industry experts judged the anonymous questionnaires to select 25 individuals in the Rising Star category and 125 individuals total honored in three categories. More than 550 nominees responded to a series of quantitative and qualitative questions about their experience, accomplishments, impact and team structure.

“We are so lucky to have Linde as a part of our team, and it is no surprise that she received this honor,” said Mark Milton, president of Argent Retirement Plan Consulting. “We’re proud of her accomplishments in our industry and look forward to seeing all she does in the future.”

“Linde is a dedicated advisor who supports each of her clients by living Argent’s values,” said Kyle McDonald, CEO of Argent Financial Group. “We’re so pleased that her passion and expertise has not gone unnoticed.”

Murphy currently serves as a governor on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Board of Governors, as the chair-elect of KLRN Public Television and as a member of the San Antonio Botanical Garden Advisory Board.

“It is an honor to be recognized within Argent and also among such outstanding peers in the industry, and I congratulate all of the women recognized by NAPA for their work,” said Murphy. “Employer-sponsored retirement plans are one of the best and easiest ways for women to start investing and close the savings gap. It’s truly inspiring to see so many women working tirelessly to help provide quality retirement plans.”

The NAPA Top Women Advisors accolade was launched in 2015 to acknowledge the contributions of a growing number of women who are making significant contributions to the retirement industry and bringing excellence to the profession.
